How the Vango Driveaway Kit Works

Attaching your awning is a straightforward, two-step process. First, slide the Figure of 8 sections onto the beaded edge of your awning's tunnel. Then, insert one side of the double-sided Kador strip into the Figure of 8 and the other side directly into the C-profile rail on your vehicle. To detach and drive away, just loosen any front webbing straps and slide the entire Figure of 8 and Kador assembly out. The awning remains freestanding, ready for you to reattach upon your return.

Compatibility Notes

This kit is specifically designed to connect awnings with a 6mm bead to vehicle rails with a 4mm channel. It is ideal for many popular wind-out canopies. If your vehicle has a 6mm channel, you will require a 6mm-to-6mm driveaway kit instead. If unsure, please check your vehicle's manual or contact our team for guidance.
