PV Logic 8-Watt Folding Solar Panel

This solar-powered battery maintainer is ideal for preventing a car battery from going flat whilst parked at an airport, topping up a campervan battery on the campsite or maintaining and extending the life of a caravan battery whilst in winter storage. The fold-up panel connects directly to a battery without the need for a charge controller (unless the battery is smaller than 60Ah).

With an integrated reverse-feed diod protection there is no potential of reverse current drain. Cable and connections are supplied with the panel to attach directly to the battery terminals via an in-car 12v socket or crocodile clips. The all-weather 8w panel can be positioned anywhere inside, or out, so long as it is facing the sun. Rubber suction cups are supplied so the panel can be secured to a vehicle's windscreen.

Folding into a compact 230 x 198 x 15mm size, the solar panel is easy to store in a glove compartment or small cupboard.
